🏁 KIDS MX SOCIAL NIGHT! 🏁

Got a young one who loves riding, or maybe they’re just starting out and need somewhere to build a bit of confidence?

Come along to our Kids MX Social Night, held every 3rd Tuesday of the month (starting in October) from 4–7pm at 51 Kawerau Road, RD2, Whakatāne.

It’s not a race night and there’s no pressure to be the fastest (although try telling them that hah). It’s simply a chance for the kids to get out on their bikes, have some fun, meet other young riders and get a bit more comfortable on two wheels.

Mitch will be there too, and happy to pass on a few tips, answer questions and help the younger riders out.

‼️MOTORCYCLE AWARENESS MONTH‼️

With this month being motorcycle awareness month we would just like to remind everyone the safest ways to be on the road.

Being smaller than a car it is paramount to be as visible as possible on the road, having front headlights and tail lights really do the job.

As getting from point A to point B there will be a few turns and road conditions may vary, we recommend road tyres not slicks (specifically ones that have not done burnouts)

For being able to see behind you and check blind spots we recommend having side mirrors mounted on the front of the bike.

It is nice to let other motorists on the road know where you are going to avoid any collisions, we recommend getting a bike fitted with indicators.

Next time you are wanting a bike to get you were you want to go, head in and see our team and we would be more than happy to get you on a bike that fits road standards 👏🏼

We are happy to say that our bike was recovered yesterday after having no headlights made it very hard for the occupant to see there was a car in-front of them. The bike seems to be fixable with a little TLC and a coat of paint.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who sent in tips and went out of their way to help us find it.
You would think in their occupation they would be able to steal a brain.
Time to get her back to race ready, the team is on it 💪🏼

🏍️ FARM DEMO DAY – MORE THAN JUST TRYING A NEW BIKE

Team Rees Motorcycles has always been about more than selling bikes. We’re a family business built around the farming community, and many of the people we deal with have been customers, friends and familiar faces for years.

So our Farm Demo Day is as much about getting everyone together as it is about the bikes.

Get off the farm for a few hours, catch up with fellow farmers, have a yarn with the Team Rees crew and enjoy lunch and a coffee on us. Mitch will also be around for a catch-up and to share a few stories from his international racing ventures.

And while you’re here, you can jump on and try the Honda 2-wheel and 4-wheel farm range, compare a few different models and see what actually works for you.

We have had this sent in

Our bike was stolen from riri street Rotorua at 7.42pm Wednesday 2nd of September, a trailer was stolen on fairy springs road, Rotorua Thursday 3rd of September at about 4.30am (see attached CCTV Photo)

This bike has multiple special ordered parts and is one of only 3 ready to race in New Zealand. The Fairings stolen with it were for one of the others

These bikes were meant to be raced by Honda New Zealand riders THIS WEEKEND.

I have attached a photo of the exhaust the bike has fitted it is the ONLY ONE in New Zealand and very distinct

If you see this trailer, or this bike please let us or the police know file number 260903

It may not be in the Rotorua region anymore but we suspect it’s been moved in a open trailer
