Our amazing Toy Library Community we need your help!

We will be running a stock take on the 14th of June from 9am - 3pm to assess the condition of our toys, and we really need your help! There are thousands of toys to go through before we are able to reopen. Can you please take two hours out of your day to help us get back up and running? Let us know and we can add you to the roster.

What a fun morning! A huge thank you to everyone who came along. We hope you enjoyed the movie. Also a big thanks to The Light House Cuba for having us, and New World Newlands for donating the gift basket. We are really grateful for everyone's support and can't wait to reopen and see everyone again soon! 💚

Do you need a bouncy castle for your next party? (or one just because they are fun?!). We have been able to collect the bouncy castles from the Toy Library, and have them available for hire. We also have party pack one available (slide, roller-coaster and bubble machine).

If you would like to hire any of these, just get in touch 😀

Kia ora, you may have seen the update on the Newlands Community Centre page, but it will still be a few weeks before the centre is able to open again, which means the Toy Library is also closed.

In the meantime, to keep your tamariki engaged in their toys, you could try a toy rotation. Pop some toys away in a cupboard and swap them out every two to three weeks. This helps to keep tamariki engaged and focused as there are less distractions, it keeps play interesting and new, and it keeps your house a bit less cluttered!

We are really looking forward to opening again, and will be in touch soon. Hang in there everyone!

Unfortunately the Community Centre was significantly impacted by the storm last night and is unable to open, which means neither will the Toy Library. We will keep everyone updated as we find out more information. If you have any questions please get in touch.

🚨 WE REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE 🚨

Kia ora everyone.
Our Centre has sustained major damage, with much of our roof blown off. Repairs are likely to take some time, and at this stage we don't know when the centre will be able to reopen.

We are in the process of contacting everyone who has bookings with us.

Has this weather been putting you off hiring a bouncy castle? If you have the space, why not just set it up in your lounge 🤷‍♀️

We have two bouncy castles for hire. The one in the picture is our small bouncy castle. The cost to hire a bouncy castle is $50 for Newlands Toy Library members, and $140 for non-members (plus a $50 deposit which is refundable when you return the bouncy castle to us in the condition you receive it)
