Choon is an experienced and dedicated mechanic who’s been a committed part of the team here at the local garage. He takes real pride in serving the Miramar community, always putting in the hard work to keep vehicles running smoothly and safely on the roads.

David has been part of The Local Garage whānau for the past 8 years, and his passion for cars runs deep especially when it comes to Japanese makes.

When he’s not under the bonnet, David loves gathering kaimoana and spending quality time with his whānau. Whether at work or in the water, he brings the same energy and passion to everything he does.

Carl is the owner and the go-to guy for just about everything here at the local garage. With over 50 years of experience (yep, he’s been working on cars since he was 14 – you do the maths 😄), there's not much he hasn’t seen or fixed.

He’s proudly owned and run the business for the past 20 years, building it into the trusted place it is today. Carl’s passion goes beyond just fixing cars — he's driven by a genuine commitment to keeping families safe on the road.

It’s that same passion for cars and safety that keeps him on the tools every day, doing what he loves and leading by example. We’re proud to have Carl & his knowledge, care, and dedication are second to none.
