Let's get behind MugCycle at Harbourside.

At Harbourside Market, look what you'll see,
A clever idea served with your tea (or coffee!).

Simon from Mug.Cycle is leading the way,
Giving rescued old mugs a new role to play.

Grab one for your flat white, latte or brew,
Then pop it back later when you're through.

No single-use cups, no waste in the bin,
Just good coffee and mugs making a win.

So next time you're wandering the market for treats,
Choose a real mug and help keep Wellington neat! ☕💚♻️

🐾 Meet Ruby – Our ! 🐾
Say hello to Princess Ruby, a 7-year-old Miniature Schnauzer from Plimmerton!
Ruby visits the market occasionally with her humans, Dave and Leigh. As their very first dog, she holds a special place in their hearts. Leigh has always loved Schnauzers, and when they happened to visit a pet store in Porirua and saw a litter of puppies, Ruby was obviously the cutest choice!
One of the lovely things about living locally is that Ruby still gets to see some of her siblings around town from time to time.
While she can be a little shy around people, Ruby absolutely loves other small dogs. She’s also a big foodie, especially when it comes to Leigh’s homemade venison, vegetable, and oats stew. It sounds so good that even I’m tempted to try it!
Full of energy, Ruby is famous for her “round-and-round zoomies,” which keep everyone entertained. She’s also known for her stylish outfits—a passion shared by Leigh. They’re not just fashionable either; they come in handy on bush walks.
Dave and Leigh love visiting the market for the fresh produce, as well as favourites like the Greek Food Truck and many of the other fantastic stalls.
Thanks for sharing Ruby with us, Dave and Leigh! 🐶❤️

Happy Saturday Wellington!
After a very chilly start what a beautiful day it turned out to be.
I’m sure everyone would have been out and about and the new Te Awa Tupua very busy.
Still yet to check it out but looking forward to cycling it.
Last Sunday was an absolute cracker at the market. Such a nice place to spend some of your day.
Tomorrows looking ok with lots going on.
Our longtime friends from the Ukraine will be beside the market office with lots of yummy food as usual. If you haven’t tried borscht, now’s your chance.
Shevington Farm Free Range Eggs will be attending tomorrow. I know many of you are missing them. It shouldn’t be too long before they are back weekly.

🐾 Meet Wilbur – Our ! 🐾
Fluffmeister Wilbur is an 8-month-old Labradoodle named after the little pig in Charlottes Web.
She lives in Mt Vic with her human Rawinia and family and visits most Sundays now that they are living close. Previously when living in Khandallah for 15 years it was more occasionally.
She was the runt from a litter of 10 from Wairarapa and Rawinias 1st dog. Chosen for her cuteness obviously, but also the low shedding and great hypoallergenic qualities.
Rawinia loves all the produce and is partial to Shelly Bays fruit loaf and Roti Bays wraps. Especially after a long walk on waterfront.
Wilbur’s a friendly girl and loves all people and other dogs. Can be a little shy at first often walking behind her human. The question she gets most? Why a boy’s name…
She can’t get enough of bark and sticks. Anything wood really. Foods not that important. Often her bowl is full all day.
Say hi next time you see Rawinia and Wilbur.
