Hi everyone, in this crazy time we are in I thought I would clarify our position as an essential service.
All Workshops can open to service/repair vehicles of essential services / workers.
Personal vehicles that essential service workers need to travel to work.
Vehicles operated for essential services (Police, Fire & Emergency, Transport & Logistics, Infrastructure Services, Waste management…)
BUT
This is not business as usual…
We have made the decision to isolate all staff except for me( Adrian )
to help our essential workers as and when needed, For my safety I will
· Operate a closed door policy no access
· Discuss service repair with customer over the phone
· Have vehicle dropped at our premises and locked
· Use a drop box system for keys
· Prior to accessing vehicles use disposable gloves and mask.
· Wipe (with antibacterial wipes/spray) door handle, steering wheel and gear selector indicator stalk and any other items I will touch. Do this again when I have finished the job and car is to be collected.
· When vehicle has been serviced / repaired follow the reverse procedure for hand over.
· Payment via online banking so as to eliminate any person to person contact.
As you can appreciate access to parts is still available but the supply chain is much slower, I am very lucky to have
ALL EURO PARTS as my neighbour and we have worked out a non contact way of getting parts from them over this time.
This is only on a booking arrangement, As for the good of the country i will only be in the workshop when needed to be.
