This is Dave, a very friendly, familiar face here in Waikanae!

Dave, along with many other familiar faces, will still be here at the fuel station to greet you, fill your tank and have a chat.

Keeping the team was really important to us. We know how much locals value the good old-fashioned forecourt service, and we have no intention of changing that.

Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll notice a few changes around the place as we get ready to make the switch to… 🥁 Challenge Waikanae! Please bear with us and be patient while the team finds their feet.

Thanks to everyone who’s popped in, asked questions or wished us well. We really appreciate the support and look forward to seeing you on the forecourt!

For many years the Bohanna family have run the Main Road service station and workshop, becoming a familiar and friendly part of Waikanae.

From 14 October, our family will have the privilege of carrying that on.

We’re a local family too, and we know how much this place means to Waikanae - so we don’t take stepping into their shoes lightly.

You’ll still get the same warm welcome on the forecourt: someone to greet you, fill your car and lend a hand.

One change to share: the workshop, long known as Bohanna Motors, is joining our family business Elite Diagnostics as another local branch backed by the same experienced Waikanae team you may already know.

You may notice a few other fresh touches as we settle in, and we’ll share more as we go.

But our promise is simple: to look after you, and this community, the way the Bohanna family always have.

Our fuel delivery got a little extra help today to get to site after the usual tractor unit had a mechanical issue

Big thanks to Allied petroleum and the awesome team at Cox heavy haulage for bringing us the fuel rather than go back to Seaview with it .
