🔥TRACK IT DOWN | Day 1 of 5🔥

Pass #1 is hidden somewhere in Stokes Valley.

Planes have one, bikes have one, and so does the Valley.
It got its feet wet lately but this didn't hurt it greatly.

Check the sneaky photo, crack the clue and get there first. The first to find it keeps a FREE family pass to Season Opening.

Found it? Snap a pic with the pass and tag us so everyone knows it's been claimed!

Season Opening: this Sunday 25th October, 6pm

🎟️THE HUNT IS ON🎟️

Value Motors Wellington Speedway Season Opening is one week away, and we’re kicking it off with something a little different…

Starting tomorrow, we’re hiding a FREE family pass to Season Opening somewhere around the Wellington region. Not once. FIVE times! One pass every day, Monday to Friday.

Every day we’ll post a riddle and a sneaky photo of the hiding spot. Crack the clue, get there first, and that family pass is yours!

We’ll be mixing it up too. Clues will drop at different times each day, and the spots will move all over, from town to Petone, Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt. So whether you’re a school-run parent, on your lunch break or out after work or school, everyone’s in with a shot.

The rules are simple:
👉One riddle and one sneaky photo drop here each day
👉First to find the pass keeps it
👉Snap a pic with your find and tag us so everyone knows it’s been claimed

Hit follow and turn on notifications. When the clue drops, the race is on! 🏁

Can you TRACK IT DOWN?

WOW - WHAT A SHOW! 🔥

Wellington Family Speedway would like to extend a massive thank you to the Kiwi Steel Rodeo Tour for hosting their Monster Truck Show at our venue!

The decision to postpone to today proved to be the right call for all involved, with the sun coming out to deliver a great afternoon of entertainment.

Our thanks go to the entire Kiwi Steel Rodeo Tour team, and everyone apart of their show. It takes a dedicated crew and a significant amount of hard work to transport and stage a show of this scale around the country, and their professionalism was evident throughout.

A special acknowledgement to Neil and Daniel, the driving force behind the tour, for partnering with Wellington Family Speedway to bring this event to our community!

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended today. Your patience and understanding with the postponement was greatly appreciated, and we hope all who came along enjoyed the show! We hope to see you back at Wellington Family Speedway for future nights of entertainment.

Monster Trucks in 2027?! .... Will have to wait and see 👀

🚨MONSTER TRUCKS MOVED TO SUNDAY🚨

Same epic show, just hopefully a bit dryer for everyone involved!

Tickets still available! And if you've seen these beasts around Upper Hutt already, you'll understand the buzz is well and truly building! 🤩

🚨 WELLINGTON SPEEDWAY – SHOW POSTPONED TO SUNDAY! 🌧️

After extensive discussions with Wellington Family Speedway and the lovely Lexi, the Speedway President doing a bit of modelling to show how wet it is. We’ve made the difficult decision to move our Kiwi Steel Rodeo show to SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER.

The track has taken an absolute beating with rain over the past couple of days. It’s soaking wet, car parking will be a nightmare, and with more rain forecast overnight, we want everyone to have the best and safest experience possible. Plus we don’t want you all having wet bums 🤣

🎟️ YOUR TICKETS ARE STILL VALID! You don’t need to buy new tickets or do anything differently – just bring your existing tickets along on Sunday!

🤘 NEW SUNDAY TIMES:
🚪 Gates open: 2:00 PM
🏍️ Pit Party: 2:30–3:30 PM
🔥 Show starts: 4:00 PM sharp!

We know it’s disappointing, but Mother Nature has other plans and Sunday is ment to be ☀️! Please share this post so everyone gets the message.

SUNDAY WE BRING THE NOISE, THE DIRT AND THE CARNAGE! 🔥🤘

Best seats in the house - no early arrival required!

Corporate box hireage is available at most meetings this season, sitting right above the action at Value Motors Wellington Family Speedway. Work function, family get-together, birthday, or just a night out done properly.

Two boxes per meeting available for hire, 20 people in each — or take the whole thing and fit up to 40.

The corporate boxes are the ones in Turn 3/4 and come equipped with bar stools, a bar leaner, a fridge, a BBQ and a couch!

Pricing is tiered depending on the meeting. Entry tickets are on top of hireage, or can be sorted by negotiation.

🏁ASSISTANT STEWARD NEEDED🏁

We're on the lookout for people to join our stewarding team at Wellington Family Speedway!

Stewards are the ones who keep the racing fair and safe — making sure the rules are applied properly and consistently across the night. It's a good way to stay involved in the sport if you're not racing yourself.

What we're after:
• A good grasp of the rules and how they're applied
• Solid communication and people skills
• Someone who works through a process
• Consistency — able to make a call without being swayed by emotion or outside pressure

You don't need to know it all already! Training and support comes from our local Head Steward, Jamie Emmens, and from Speedway New Zealand.

More about what the role involves: https://www.sporty.co.nz/asset/downloadasset?id=db22501c-aa66-4e19-820c-0dfa57f7d117

If you're keen to know more, flick us an email at [email protected] and we'll put you in touch with our Steward for a chat.
