We race at at the Kartsport Wellington Gazley Raceway on the 3rd Sunday of every month, with driving and spectating visitors welcome. We are located on the Rimataka Incline Road, just off SH2, about 10min north of Upper Hutt. Come along and see what this family sport is all about. The club hosts a variety of kart classes and we also host the bucket bike riders for their racing as well.

It's club champs this weekend, and that means it's a bit of a step up from a normal club day...Here's some tips for a successful day at the track!

🏎 Tech Officials will be there and may do some random checks through the day.
🏎Brush up on your class rules and general technical rules for your kart.
🏎 Make sure your gear is ready for inspection, in good condition, and your KSNZ App is showing a green light.
🏎 At the end of the day, check the black board in the weigh shed...You may be required for some post race checks before results are finalised.
🏎 Charge your transponder! Make sure the subscription is valid!

We are looking forward to a great days racing this Sunday at the Strand Painters & Decorators Club Champs!

Please read the following info carefully, as it differs from our normal club days.

🏎️Gates open at 7am, with sign in and scrutineering from 7:15am to 8:15am.
🏎️All “X” rated drivers must have their kart checked. All others will be random through the day.
🏎️Drivers Briefing will be at 8:15am.
🏎️Racing will START at 8:30am. This is 30 mins earlier than usual, we have a big day to get through.
🏎️There will be NO tuning runs, please ensure your kart is up to scratch, and your transponder is fitted and working.

🏎️🏎️🏎️Again, Heat 1 will commence at 8:30am with NO tuning runs. Please be on time.🏎️🏎️🏎️

TOW VEHICLES NEEDED! It is a big job getting 21 light towers to and from the track in August. The club needs a fleet of 10 suitable vehicles and drivers to help with this. Please get in touch with us if you are keen to help on the Friday and Sunday morning of the night race. Fuel will be covered, along with a free dinner each night 🙂🏍🏎

It's National Volunteer Week! And that means it's time to say a MASSIVE thank you to the people behind the scenes that make our club tick! Without our army of volunteers who show up rain, hail, or shine...Work late nights, weekends, evenings after their day jobs, early mornings...The answer is simple, we just couldn't drive around in circles fast!

Our team is one of the best in the country and they put in hundreds of hours collectively each month supporting our club.
