6 year old Lucas Jensen is spending today at the track doing laps & taking onboard lots of learning from his Dad Paul.

Lucas races his Delario Evo 110 with the Minigp Academy NZ but comes down from Auckland for track days quite regularly.

We love that our track is readily available to other forms of motorsport, not just karts, to practice on. Join our club, register to practice & Bobs your uncle. Easy!!

Now that Daylight Saving has kicked in, the forestry gate will now be locked at 7 pm each night instead of 5.30.

If you are the last to leave the track please make sure the toilet block is locked up. The men’s toilets are repeatedly left open. Lock them or lose the availability of them. It’s not hard.

Over the last few days someone decided they needed to remove a couple of bricks from in front of the deck. As you can see they were purposely levered out, not vandalised.

If anyone noticed anything please DM me so we can narrow down the timeframe to check the CCTV footage.

The end one had a karting family name on it (it wasn’t them!!!) & the next one had a quote on it. I suspect it was the quote one they wanted.

If - upon reflection - you realise you made an error of judgement, leave them inside the front gate and no further action will be taken.

Let’s get Nico to Portugal 🇵🇹🏁

Hi everyone, as you know I’m off to Portugal in November for the Rotax Grand Finals and I’m so excited! This obviously comes at a pretty big cost and we have set up a fundraising page, we have had some incredibly generous donation already and we’re so grateful. Not all our members doing awesome things on the world stage are karters!!

James Drought calls our track his home track!! He started karting in a cadet a few years ago but found his calling on two wheels instead of 4. He very regularly practices here so may be familiar to you.

We wish him all the very best when he flies the Tokoroa / NZ flag in China

James Drought is one of 80 riders at the Ohvale Guangzhou Super Cup.
