Planning summer holidays with the kids? Meet the East Coast Epic 220, the newest family caravan in our range.

This 22ft rear bunk van has a king bed up front with huge storage underneath, a full kitchen, and a big bathroom with concertina doors on both sides, so everyone gets a bit of privacy over the school holidays.

Room for the whole crew, and then some.

The Newlands Family Tourister 720 is a 23'6" van with a four bunk layout, built for bigger families who want to get out and explore together. The kids get their own space, you keep yours, and nobody's fighting over where they're sleeping.

At 2,530 kg tare, it's light for a van this size. With an ATM of 3,230 kg, you've got 700 kg of payload to play with, which counts for a lot when you're packing for six.

More than 50% of our vans are custom built to order. Pick your exterior colour, your suspension, your inverter setup, two, three or four bunks, even pillow top mattresses.

Pre Christmas build slots are filling fast, so if you've got a summer trip in mind it pays to get in early.

Thinking about getting off the tarseal this summer?

If you want to take your van further than the main road, off road suspension is where the conversation starts, but it's actually a whole chassis upgrade. DO35 drop hitch, ratchet handbrake, and Cruisemaster independent trailing arms with coil springs and shocks.

More ground clearance, better ride over rough ground, and a lot more confidence on gravel and farm tracks.

Spring is the right time to sort it before the summer trips start. Come in and we'll talk you through what's involved.

The Newlands 650 Family Limited Edition comes in Mouse Grey and has a hand-picked list of upgrades already built in.

100 amp lithium battery and DC:DC charger, four Sirocco fans, black tapware and kitchen sink, grey water tank, Hawk 4in1 air fryer, hydraulic table leg, and a full padded beadhead instead of a front window.

That's around $9,000 worth of accessories included, plus 600kg of payload to actually pack for the family.

If you'd rather drive away sooner, we've also got plenty on the yard, from family vans with two or three bunks to couples vans with a queen bed.

The first trip of the season is the best one, as long as the van is ready for it.

After a winter parked up, it pays to check your tyres, tyre pressures and wheel nuts, and make sure all your gas connections are sound with no leaks. Fill your gas bottles too, so you're sorted when you get there.

It's simple stuff, but it's what keeps small problems from turning into a ruined weekend.
