A Caddy Mobility with a real job to do.

This week we handed over a VW Caddy Mobility to the Waimate Community Trust - that's Miles collecting the keys. It's Volkswagen's purpose-built wheelchair accessible van, with a rear ramp and room for passengers to travel in their own chair, and it'll be keeping people in the Waimate district moving.

Some people laughed at the Tasman when it launched. To be fair - people laughed at the mullet too, and now half of South Canterbury has one.

So today we took one up to Ski Area. That access road sorts out the pretenders — and the Tasman didn't blink.

3,500kg braked towing, Kia's 5-year/150,000km warranty, the full safety suite, and a 3 year/45,000km service plan on this one.

A ute that climbs a ski field access road and costs nothing to service for three years is hard to keep laughing at.
