Thames Valley Motorcycle Club

Thames Valley Motorcycle Club We have secured the lease on a good bit of flat land behind the Rugby fields at Rhodes Park, Ngati Maru Highway, Thames.

It is our ultimate goal to provide a top-class facility at this site, but this will take time and resources. To start with we will have a flat senior track, plus a pee wee track. As funds and time permit we will add jumps, berms, obstacles etc. First we need to obtain Resource Consent to shift dirt, this process is under way. As we are all volunteers and a not-for-profit organisation we would welcome and assistance you can offer.

Well we had an eventful but an awesome day at the same time. With riders turning up to support the schools and perfect weather, we couldn’t have asked for much more. We Would like to say a huge thank you to the Stanaway family and Leaches quarry’s for allowing us to use their land. Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers and TVMCC members that helped make the day happen, we couldn’t have done it without you guys.

Access to trail ride up Taieri Road off Waitawheta road, no access from Pukewera road because it’s closed.

Helmet and motorbike boots must be worn
