Last week we attended our first Automotive Solutions group meeting 🔧

We joined last year - you may have noticed the sign on our building.

It’s not a franchise. We’re still the same locally owned couple - just with a network of like-minded workshop owners behind us.

Being part of this group means we’re constantly sharing knowledge, learning, and improving - both technically and in how we run the business.

And it’s not just about what we take from it. With years in the industry, we’re also able to contribute, share what’s worked for us, and support others in the group too.

At the end of the day, it’s all about raising the standard for our workshop and for the customers we look after every day.

We’re hitting pause for 2 days this week (Thursday/Friday)

We’ll be closed while we attend an Automotive Solutions workshop, part of how we keep learning and improving.

As a small team, we do tend to book out in advance, so if you’ve got something coming up, it pays to plan ahead.

That said, if you’re stuck or need something urgent, still give us a call and we’ll always do our best to help 🙌

April marks 13 years in business for us.

What a journey it’s been. We’re incredibly grateful for the customers, suppliers, friends and whānau who have supported us along the way. Business has its highs and its challenges, but we’ve always put our hearts into what we do, and we still love spinning spanners.

One of our biggest milestones was moving into our new building. We’d always wanted a space where we could grow and support younger people coming through the trade - and this gave us that.

Here’s a throwback to that move 👇

Late nights. Big decisions. A lot of learning along the way.
Concrete, walls, layout, flow, everything thought through to make it better for our customers and the team behind the tools.

We’ve been lucky to have some pretty awesome people around us too.

Friends and whānau who showed up, whether it was big jobs or just grabbing a broom or a paintbrush.

We’re proud of what we’ve built.
And we’re still building. Here’s to 13 years 🍾🔧

New Zealand Sidecar champs at McDonald's Kihikihi Speedway this weekend! How exciting is that to have it in our own backyard.

Our mates at Kihikihi Scrap Metal B & M Autos will be racing! 🏁

Grab the fam and head on down for racing Friday and Saturday this weekend.

The Te Awamutu women’s football team will be parking on Saturday as a fundraiser.
