It’s coming into Easter and this year we have decided to take an extended break and give our staff a well earned break after a busy summer season.

If you’re heading away for the Easter break, now’s the time to book in! Check those WOF’s or even for a vehicle/trailer check over before you head away. (Hopefully to some sunshine 😬)

We will be closed from Friday 3rd of April and reopen 13th April.

Roadside assistance will continue 24/7 over the break on 0274466245 as usual

🔔 Service Update - Home Heating Fuel Deliveries in Te Anau 🔔

With the recent closure of Lakeside Service Centre (Lakeside RDP On the Spot), Evans Freight has stepped in to continue home heating fuel deliveries for Te Anau and surrounding areas, ensuring locals can still access reliable fuel supply as we head into the cooler months.

Need a delivery? Contact Evans Freight if you:

✔️ Require home heating fuel delivered
✔️ Previously used the RD trailer tank delivery service
✔️ Live in Te Anau or surrounding areas

Pricing:
Charged at the pump price on the day of delivery + $20 delivery fee within the Te Anau town boundary. For rural or out-of-town deliveries give us a call and we’ll negotiate a fair rate.

🎄🎅🏼 It’s that time of year again and we want to take the time to thank each and everyone of you that have supported this year. We really appreciate it.

And with that we will be giving the team a well deserved break so the workshop will closed from the 24th December 2025 and returning 5th January 2026

Santa has left three clues to help guide your search:

🎅 Clue 2
Swings go high and slides go low,
Near boats that rest and waters slow.
Run and laugh, then look around,
Santa’s missing piece can be found!

🎅 Clue 3
Where dogs roam free and discs fly far,
Nature and paths stretch near and afar.
Walk, explore, and keep your eyes keen,
Santa’s last item is hiding where water can be seen.🎄

If you find one of the items, please bring it into TSSL. Santa has left some goodies for our lucky finders! 🎁

🎅 Santa Needs Your Help! 🎅
Every year, Te Anau Service Station has a very special (and very secret!) maintenance job… repairing Santa’s sleigh in time for Christmas!
Santa always brings the parts we need all the way from the North Pole. But this year, while flying through a storm on his way to Te Anau, he lost three very important items needed to fix his sleigh:

Santa’s sleigh blueprints

A special sleigh tool

A vital sleigh part

Santa’s magical senses tell him that all three items have landed somewhere around Te Anau! That’s where the clever children of Te Anau come in — we need your help to find the missing items so we can repair the sleigh and save Christmas! 🎄

Be sure to stay tuned to our page as Santa will be giving us some clues!

We spent most of the day in Milford Sound yesterday, helping locals and tourists, getting them back on the road!

Jump starts, putting on spares, puncture repairs and retrieving keys from locked cars!

This Toyota Hybrid needed to be towed, but once at the workshop, we got it running again 😁
