A huge congratulations to the strappers of the Best Presented Horses on SEEKA Kiwifruit Cup Day! 👏

Each winning strapper received a $50 Saddlery Warehouse voucher, generously sponsored by Saddlery Warehouse Cambridge & Tauranga, in recognition of the care, dedication and hard work that goes into presenting every racehorse on raceday.

🐴 Best Presented Horse – SEEKA Kiwifruit Cup 🐴

Congratulations to Emma Smith, who was awarded Best Presented Horse in this year's SEEKA Kiwifruit Cup for her outstanding work preparing Dance For Her. 🌟

The award, proudly sponsored by Lawrence Racing, included a $100 cash prize, presented by Kirsty Lawrence.

The SEEKA Kiwifruit Cup holds a special place for Kirsty and Lawrence Racing, with their outstanding galloper Intransigent creating history by winning the race three years in a row in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

A beautifully presented horse is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the stable team behind the scenes, and Emma's efforts certainly stood out on the day.

Congratulations, Emma, and thank you to Kirsty and Lawrence Racing for their continued support of this special award. 👏🐎

🏆 Congratulations to our 2026 Super Liquor Greerton Punter of the Year! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Daniel Anderson, who claimed the title of 2026 Super Liquor Greerton Punter of the Year after an outstanding day of punting at Tauranga Racecourse!

Daniel was joined by teammates Asher Tancock and Mohit Kothari, with the trio combining their racing knowledge to take out this year's competition. Daniel proudly accepted the Super Liquor Greerton Punter of the Year Trophy, presented by Carl McComb from Racing Tauranga and Kirsty Lawrence from Hawke's Bay Racing.

As winners, Daniel, Asher and Mohit will now represent Racing Tauranga at the NZ Punter of the Year Final at Hastings on 10 October. We wish them the very best of luck!

A big thank you to Super Liquor Greerton for their continued support of this fantastic competition, and to everyone who entered and made it such an enjoyable day.
