As some of you will be aware there has been very cheap Race Fuel listed on various forums in the last week.

Put quite simply we only supply product that has the highest Purity levels possible from reputable suppliers. We have no interest in Commercial Grade products that may be slightly cheaper as there is more than enough evidence from many engine builders throughout the country of the damage old stock methanol, tech grade methanol or smelly Ethanol can do to an engine.

The reality for anyone importing any product to NZ right now is that costs have increased and delivery has slowed and it’s not something that will change in a hurry but if it looks to cheap then it probably is.

For all those who are keen to spend less than $300 a drum on Methanol for example we can simply advise buyer beware! Anyone who wishes to check in with some of our customers need only touch base with the likes of Randy Tarrant, Marshall Motorsport Hamilton, Hutt Park Racing, Dan Corrin, Cowling Motorsport, Flynn Racing, Burson Racing or Waddell Racing. There’s just a few NZ titles across these guys in recent times..

Winner: Keegan Levien

Driver of Superstock 5w and Stockcar 4w, Keegan Levien had a season to remember.

The orange and black Hutt Park racing machines were common on the podium throughout 2019/20. In arguably 2 of the toughest classes to podium multiple times per season due to their contact nature, Keegan broke that mold with 3 victories and a 2nd place in the 5 big individual championships he entered. Keegan was also an integral part of the victorious Wellington Young Guns Stockcar team who remained undefeated in 2019/20.

Winner: Dan Corrin

Racing achievements were quiet this year for Dan, a consistent top 10 competitor and aplacing at the North Island title, the results throughout had highs and lows. However, he turned his season around and lined up on grid 5 for the New Zealand championship in February.

Dan is a great Super Saloon competitor and an even better sportsperson for the sake of New Zealand Speedway. He has shown outstanding sportsmanship this season.

At the NZ Super Saloon Championship, Dan showed a new level of competitiveness and sportsmanship. He made contact with another driver and was deemed not prime cause of the stoppage. Dan was able to recognise this and communicate with infield staff that he was the prime cause. Dan could have remained quiet and potentially picked up a podium title but he owned his mistake. His actions are those that will inspire others in our sport to be greater individuals both on and off the track.

Dan has picked up a few feature wins at Baypark as well as 3rd at the North Island titles (3rd time in a row).

Dan spends the majority of the season, driving all around the country with the BK Series, putting on a masterclass demonstration, representing his large amount of sponsors, as well as the series sponsors.

We had planned a large post this week detailing the outstanding results of last season by all the teams running our Ethanol and Methanol. With all that has been happening both locally and globally we will get to that next week now but due to a heap of social media panic we just want to assure you that supply of our Ethanol and Methanol that powered guys to 1NZ Superstocks, World 240 Superstock, 1NZ, 2NZ and 3NZ SuperSaloons will be available again soon! We can only say don't panic! The winning juices will be available again very soon!

What a cracker season. Our Ethanol burners started it well with Randal Tarrant - 1NZ Superstock taking out the first of the 'Super' events followed by Hutt Park Racing and Keegan taking out the World 240's.
Last night the Methanol guys got stuck into it and we swept the podium with all of the top 3 running on . Top job guys and massive congratulations to you all. Waddell Motorsport Flynn Racing Cowling Motorsport

Good haul of points from Dan and Ian tonight. Great night for Mark Pitcher, Sam Waddell and Grant Flynn. Fingers crossed this time tomorrow we'll have the 1nz SuperStock and 1nz Super Saloon winners for 2020.

Currently sitting 15th in the points standings. Had some good gains in the heats. Our grids are 12 and 2 tomorrow.

Hopefully we can climb the ladder!
