🌧💨 Stay Safe in a Weather Bomb
When wild weather hits, driving conditions can change quickly. Heavy rain, strong winds, flooding and poor visibility can make even
familiar roads dangerous.
If you do need to head out:
Slow down and increase your following distance
Turn your headlights on and make sure you can be seen
Take extra care around surface water and flooding
Keep both hands on the wheel in strong winds
Never drive through floodwater if you’re unsure of its depth
Watch for fallen trees, branches and debris on the road
And before the next storm arrives, make sure your tyres, wipers, lights and brakes are up to the job.
