The first Atomic Street tensioners are being assembled as production is under way and ETA is early September. We'll be starting our Atomic tensioner line with the street tensioner, a drop in OEM+ tensioner designed at matching the modern requirements of a Barra.
You guys are pushing these engines well beyond what they were designed for so we've made some big updates to one of the hardest working components in the motor based on 18 months of focused testing. We'll dive into the tech side of it in a few months and share the knowledge.

- Street Tensioner ETA Late August/early Sept
- Est. RRP $250-$300
- Drop in OEM+ replacement
- Designed for mild spring/cam upgrades, stock(ish) oil pressure, not 100psi + and 9000rpm
- Atomic Race tensioner coming late 2026 - requires new guide and pivot

An overview of updates on the Street Tensioner:
- CNC billet steel construction with tight tolerances
- OEM compatibility - works with all known existing timing kits
- Heavy Duty ratchet system
- 16mm piston up from 14mm which means much wider teeth
- Revised angle and contact position to reduce friction and guide stress
- Improved check valve system
- Increased locking pin diameter
- Integrated backstop to avoid complete loss of chain tension
- Integrated lubrication channel
- Integrated Air bleed system
- Improved ratchet driver system
