Appreciation Post - Motortreads Taupō Tyre Shop deserves a shout‑out.

Laurence has built something genuinely solid here — a shop that runs smoothly whether he’s on site or life pulls him elsewhere.
His lads are well‑trained, trusted, and you can see their confidence growing every time you visit.
It’s been awesome to watch that progression over the last couple of years.

I’ve been a customer for a while now and always appreciate the way they treat both my cars and me. Easy to book, sharp pricing, and they always seem to have exactly what you need in stock.

Before the rally, I had a couple of rose joints to swap out. They let me change them while the car was on the alignment rack, then dialled in a laser‑straight alignment so we could send it that weekend — and send it we did.

Tyre clearance is pretty bad again on the new lux needs trimming with any size up.

We are now an official Method wheels dealer, New Zealand has previously struggled with good supply now has a huge range actually in stock in nzd.

These are especially ideal for the higher load ratings needed. Above we have the 18x9 Method 305 with a load rating over 2000kg per wheel!
