So when it came to the electrical work for our new workshop, we were pretty happy to have T+B Electrical on the job.

Brook and Thys did an awesome job, were great to work with, and helped us get the workshop exactly where it needed to be.

Well… we’re a little late sharing this one!
😅
We posted a couple of starting photos of our new workshop, then got busy finishing it and moving in, we even managed to sneak away for a holiday while celebrating 8 years in business! 🥂
So here it finally is!
Just over eight years ago we bought this bare piece of land with no buildings and no real idea of what the business would eventually become.
Our first workshop was relocated from The Okato Bus Lines and rebuilt here by Jason, with the help of his father-in-law, his dad, our son Cole and some amazing friends who pitched in. We opened the doors as JSME, became The Garage three years later, and things just continued to grow from there.
Now, eight years on, Jason has built workshop number two, with some amazing help again from his dad, his father-in-law and Cole. We’re incredibly grateful for all the hours and hard work they’ve put in.
The new workshop now gives our automotive and engineering work their own dedicated spaces, and we’re finally all moved in!
Remembering that it all started with a bare piece of land is pretty special. We never really knew what this business would become, we just kept working, kept building, and it grew with us.
Eight years later, we’re pretty proud of what stands here today and even more grateful for the people who helped us get here. 🧡

Remember a while back we posted about our youngest team member, 12-year-old Eli, who was working hard to help fund his trip to the UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane..

Well… what a result! Eli finished #26 in the WORLD for his age! 🌏👏

Such an awesome achievement after all the hard work he put in to get there. We’re pretty proud to have Eli as part of our team and to have been one of his sponsors along the way.

Well done, Eli, what an experience and what a result!

A few months ago, 12-year-old Eli walked into our workshop looking for a part-time job. He wasn't just after pocket money, he was determined to help fund his dream of representing New Zealand at the UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane in July.

Since then, he's become part of the team, spending a couple of afternoons each week helping keep our workshop clean and tidy. His work ethic and determination have impressed us all.

We're proud to support Eli by sponsoring his race shirt and can't wait to follow his journey. Best of luck, Eli, we'll all be cheering you on! 🇳🇿
