Called out to this beautiful property yesterday.

I got the tractor back into service for the winter jobs ahead.

Also a good time to check those farm fuel tanks for contamination and to replace fuel filters regularly.

Just a reminder to some that rely on day time runner lights to be seen, that they are only on the front and no one can see you from the back especially in the fog.

Last Sunday a couple mates had a dream of completing a second rally. This was called a little shy of half way.
With a small charging system issue after the second stage, we had an opportunity to have a go at resolving it. A spare spanner and a couple cable ties saw the problem resolved.

We made it to the spectator area for stage three. We heard and saw the corolla singing during a heavy amount of wide open throttle. Chucking the correct amount of stones too.

While they guys almost made it to the end of the stage, it was not to be.
A small deviation off the road including a roll and a fire stopped the crew from continuing the day.

Once the recovery team got the car back up the bank and towed it to the end of the stage, we replaced a fuel hose and a little creative throttle application the car drove onto the trailer ready to begin the next healing phase of its life.

Great crew, great rally and everything went so well, apart from the obvious.

What is stopping you?

This vehicle hadn't been serviced in 3 years and lucky the WOF inspector did a great job finding these.

The customer now has had a full brakes replacement including a full brake fluid flush. A full service of all the filters and a few bulbs

Ready for the WOF recheck now.

This was the final job for the year.

It's a Turbo on a Skoda Superb.
The variable vanes had completely seized and locked solid. So no more 🌀boost🌀.

Turns out to replace it, you must remove the engine.
With a replacement unit sourced, it was back in before 🧑‍🎄Santa🧑‍🎄 had packed the sleigh.

One happy client back on the road for the 🎄🎁Christmas holidays!!!!🎁🎄
