Our next event on Friday January 9th and Saturday January 10th is going to be one that you will not want to miss with plenty of top-class racing and action on both nights.

Over 60 competitors have entered the Grand Prix while 26 of the fastest and toughest female drivers will take part in the Queen of Mountain Stockcar Champs!

We also have a full array of food trucks on site for your race night dinner or snacks.

🎅🏁🎄As our December 13th event is our last before Christmas we’re holding a Christmas Party at Speedway! Pick A Part have come on board as our main supporter of the event (thanks team!). As well as an action-packed night of racing, featuring the Plant & Fabrication Services Taranaki Modified Champs and Ginge Hayward Memorial, Stockcar Heritage Shield, the Saloon City of New Plymouth Classic and the Youth Ministock City of New Plymouth Classic, there will be plenty for the kids to take part in.

Costume Competition - dress up in a Christmas themed costume and take part in the competition in front of the grandstand at 6pm for a chance to win one of three great prizes for each age group. Note all participants need to assemble in front of the grandstand at 5:50pm.

Colouring Competition - Get your image coloured and bring to the track on the day before 5:30pm. The competition will be judged before racing starts! Prizes up for grabs in each age group! Grab your Colouring competition from these businesses in Stratford - Xsignt, FieldTorque, New World, in Hawera - Repco, Jitterbug Coffee Cart and in New Plymouth - Repco (available at these places from Thursday 4th December) or download from the link below. Santa at Speedway - See Santa do a lap of the track during the Speedway Santa Parade or catch up with him as he wanders through the crowd.

Don’t forget the Stratford StrEAT festival is on the same day so why not head into town for an early dinner or snack, come to speedway and then check out the Stratford light trail after racing?
