Hi Minisprint fans, our season is on the downhill run now. The OST Manawatu Dash which was the Fifth and Final OST round for the season and a while 95s Duane Hickman had the Championship in the bag the 2 remaining podium spots were wide open. Hickman won the first heat from 66p Craig Mason and 85s Erin Uhlenberg taking 3rd spot. Heat two had a few thrills and spills which required a restart from which 82s Cam Hurley waltzed away to take the win from Hickman and 2nz Glen McCutcheon in 3rd. The Final heat had 66p Mason take a well deserved win from Hickman and Erin Uhlenberg again taking 3rd. The Manawatu Dash had Hickman topping the points charts from Hurley, Mason and Uhlenberg all tied for second but split in the order of quickest lap time. A good night with the Tour won by Hickman from McCutcheon and Nickel with Jefferies then Hurley rounding out the top 5. Thanks to Palmerston North Speedway for a great night.
