Job Vacancy: Spray Painter
Start Date: From mid January 2026

Silverstream Panel Beaters is looking for a skilled Spray Painter to join our team. We’re a professional, team-focused workshop, committed to high-quality workmanship and great customer service.

Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality automotive spray-painting work
• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting
• Ensure all work meets workshop standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Requirements
• Experience as an automotive spray painter (or relevant training)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good time management and reliability

I've signed up for the Heart Foundation MyMarathon challenge this May and I'm asking for your support.

MyMarathon is a fundraising and fitness challenge where participants (that's me!) walk or run 42km (or more) in the month of May and ask our supporters (that's you!) to consider a donation.

My goal is to run 126km

Your donation will help the Heart Foundation fund life-saving Heart research that makes a real difference for people living with Heart disease.

We all love and know someone that has been affected by heart disease which is why I've been inspired to raise funds for Kiwi hearts this year. I hope you'll join me in supporting this worthwhile cause.

A great reminder if you are brave enough to be out in the cold this morning ❄️🥶

Police were notified of a number of non-injury crashes overnight.

Police want to remind people to stay vigilant and take extra care.

Drivers should allow more time for their journey and exercise caution when experiencing rain, ice, or snow.

Often, adverse weather will reduce visibility and increase stopping distances, so please remember to increase your following distances when in traffic.

It’s important to slow down and drive to the conditions.

While you may be able to see the road ahead of you without your headlights on, other motorists might not see you.

We all have a part to play in making our roads safe.

Think before getting behind the wheel and stay warm!
