A big weekend of racing awaits at Bathurst! 🏎️ 🏁

Wade-sponsored Kiwi drivers Jaxon Evans and Ryan Wood Motorsport are ready to take on the mountain (and the Aussies!) in the Repco Bathurst 1000 Supercars.

The pair arrive fresh off a recent podium in the AirTouch 500 at The Bend, their first enduro together this season.

Now comes the biggest race on the calendar: 161 laps and 1000km around challenging Mount Panorama.

The Wade team will be glued to the TV this weekend cheering them on.

They arrive with rotten floors and graffiti. They leave ready to carry their communities again. 🚌

Ten months into our refurbishment contract with Ritchies Transport, the programme is in full swing. Jase, our Heavy Fleet, Production Manager, walks us through what it takes to bring each bus back to life:

• Rotten floors cut out and replaced
• Seats and doors stripped and refurbished
• Graffiti and window scratches removed
• Everything refitted, including new driver's seats

We've worked closely with the Ritchies team from day one, and we're now turning around two to three buses a week.

As Jase likes to put it, every bus gets "a good birthday", and we're stoked to see them back on the road.

A bad accident ended Geoff's saloon car racing. Ten days later, he was hooked on R/C speedway. 🏎️

Now he can take a car from the box to the HRCCC (Hamilton Radio Control Car Club) track in around five days.

The Superstock is his favourite. Fast, aggressive and unforgiving. But the real rush comes from team racing: five cars from his team against five from theirs. Every race takes strategy, precision and a willingness to take the hits and keep going.

For Geoff, building something that performs is the goal, whether it's on the track or at work.
