🍔 Round 7 – Brock👨‍🍳

Brock stepped up and smashed out his round with The Rangatira Smash! 🔥

A beef smash patty loaded with cheese, fried onions, a fried egg, lettuce and beetroot relish—all packed inside a homemade Māori fry bread bun. 🤤

And on the side? A warm Māori steam pudding served with lashings of cream and custard. Because apparently one epic dish just wasn’t enough! 🙌

Bold flavours, a nod to his roots and one seriously ambitious entry from Brock. 🖤

🍔 Round 6 – Chris 👨‍🍳

Chris reeled us in with Te Ika a Māui — his own personalised take on the classic Fillet-O-Fish!🐟

A crispy fish fillet stacked with fresh lettuce, a perfectly cooked fried egg, red onion, tomato, double cheese and creamy sauce, all tucked inside a sesame bun and served with crispy tater tots on the side. Safe to say, we were hooked! 🎣

Will this legendary burger be enough to catch the crown? 👑

🍔 Week 7 – Enter Chris 👨‍🍳

After a well-earned break... Burgers & Bragging Rights is BACK!

Chris is up next, and if you know him, you'll know he's not one for unnecessary fuss.

No smoke.
No gimmicks.
No overthinking it.

Just a bloke who works hard, enjoys a Vanilla Coke, and quietly backs himself to put together a bloody good burger. 🍔🥤

🌴 Install of the Week — Bali Edition! 🌴

We swapped glass for sunshine and packed plenty into one epic week away!

While celebrating a gorgeous family wedding in Nusa Dua, we managed to tick off ATVs through Ubud, a family 40th celebration at the popular Mexicola, Waterbom, elephants, zip-lining, massages, new tattoos, seafood sunsets—and more than a few Bintangs. 🍺☀️

We’re heading home sun-kissed, full-hearted and with plenty of new memories in the bank.

🍔 Burgers & Bragging Rights is taking a breather!

After five weeks of burgers, bold flavours and plenty of bragging, our crew has earned a week off from the kitchen. 😅

There’ll be no burger creation this Monday, but the competition will be back next week with the final four contenders ready to battle it out.

The scores are still locked away, the leaderboard remains top secret, and the bragging rights are still anyone’s to claim. 👀🏆

🍔 Week 5 – Kane👨‍🍳

Kane stepped into the kitchen with The Bambrie... a burger that was a little deer to resist. 🦌🍔

On the menu:
🦌 Venison patty
🧀 Creamy brie cheese
🥓 Raspberry bacon jam
🥬 Fresh lettuce
🥯 Soft brioche bun

And on the side...
🧆 Crispy golden arancini, served with a rich berry sauce.

A bold combination of sweet, savoury and game flavours that definitely stood out from the crowd. Kane wasn't afraid to take a few risks, and he delivered a burger unlike anything we've seen in the competition so far.

The team have cast their votes, but the scores remain under lock and key until the grand finale... 👀

🌶️ Week 5 – Kane's up! 🔥🍔

The competition is heating up... and now it's the turn of the bloke who's convinced everything tastes better with chilli.

Seriously...

If it doesn't make your eyes water, Kane probably thinks it needs another splash of hot sauce. 🌶️😅

Will he build the ultimate spicy burger... or accidentally melt the judges' tastebuds?
Or - surprise us with something totally different.

One thing's for sure...

Tomorrow's lunch definitely won't be bland. 🔥🍔

🚨 WE’RE MOVING! 🚨

Well… the first lot of signwriting is up, so the news is officially crystal clear! 👀

In early October, The Glass Guys will be moving into our new home at:

📍 83 Old Taupo Road

Our new location will feature a brand-new showroom and a factory twice the size — giving us more space to grow, create and continue delivering the smashing service you know us for.

There’s plenty of work to be done before moving day, so watch this space as our new premises take shape and transform into something seriously GLASSY! 🖤
