Looking forward to the show Mokoia Raethel and Rotorua Lakes High School.

🎭 MEET YOUR KENICKIE 🎭

Confident, loyal, and never far from the action, Kenickie is the backbone of the T-Birds. Whether he’s chasing dreams, backing his mates, or showing off a bit of swagger, he brings energy and edge to Rydell High.

Taking on this role is Year 13 student Mokoia Raethel, making his stage debut. With a strong passion for music, including singing and playing piano, Mokoia brings both confidence and heart to the stage.

This is his first time performing in a production, and he’s totally embraced the challenge - stepping into a big role and making it his own.

The aftermath of being too hard on the gear.
Car was on song all weekend until the last mis-shift of the day and the clutch pressure plate left the chat.

Fortunately nothing came through the floor and our passenger was all good.

Bit of damage but that's part of the job. Brake line was severed down the back straight of Taupo so the handbrake went to work big time.

All in all another good weekend out and more learnings to take away

Must be Carnival week??
Not much to do this year so hopefully we're cruising into the weekend providing Dyno goes accordingly to plan tomorrow with CDM Ltd

Motor is all freshened up with new Toda cams. Link ECU Monsoon G4X taking care of the fuel injection.

Finally got around to fitting the Piper cross filter after years of nothing, thought with the fresh motor we might try and look after it this time.

Looking forward to seeing how she drives with the upgrades and what sort of power the new cams are going to give us, the VVTI was good so hopefully this gives us a little more at the top end.

We'll find out this weekend at the Taupo International Motorsport Park for the Choice Events and Promotions CARnival

Had the pleasure of wiring up Elise from Macfarlane auto's RB powered S13.

Following the theme of the build, a sleek new wiring harness was constructed to blend into the engine bay, letting the immaculately detailed RB take centre stage.

Link ECU G4X plug and play ECU had already been purchased but there was no amount of braided sleeving that could get the factory wiring harness scrubbed up.
The call was made to construct a new engine harness using TEFZEL wiring, Raychem DR25 and moulded boots to get the transition points spot on.
All wires have been concentrically twisted to allow for maximum flexibility and reduce overall bundle size. The Main trunk consisting of 92 wires with an O.D of 15.3mm.

The factory throttle has been replaced by a Bosch drive by wire throttle with GM pedal. Bonus that the Link plug and play was already equipped to control a DBW system so no need for extra modules or relays.

The interior here is in really good condition and the last thing we want is to have so much gear installed that none of the interior bits can go back in.
Rather than jam a fuse box and a couple of relays into the kick panel, a new relay/fuse box to control all engine related electrics has been relocated to the boot space.
The factory kick panel slides right back in to place and everything is kept mint.

The car has already started making it's rounds at various events and is a crowd favourite.
