Kia Ora Reporoa
Some of you have probably been wondering where I’ve been lately and I apologise for not letting you know sooner and no I have not done a runner but I do wish it was that simple.
Nearing the end of 2025 I was involved in a hit and run whilst riding my motorbike to the hospital to visit my mother, because of this I have been unable to work due to injuries sustained to my body and head and I’m still awaiting a second surgery.
My wife and I have been staying in Murupara with my mother in law for most of the year as we needed assistance with taking care of our 2 yr old son while I was at my worst post crash and post surgery. Upon returning to our farm house we were renting in Reporoa earlier this year we had discovered the owner had moved all our property out to make way for a new tenant and in the process everything is now gone mine and my families personal property and that of the business also. Yes we had lost all our income but when I informed the farmer he said he understood, it wasn’t too big of a deal and that we’d sort something out when we could. Amongst the property lost were my work tools, tyres and wheels belonging to some of you my customers.
This isn’t a post to name and shame the farmer but a formal apology to my clients for my inability to carry out my responsibilities as the tyre man of Reporoa and to keep you all rolling as I promised so many of you.
Also if anyone has seen my single cab white flatdeck 4x4 nissan navara rego FWZ282 it isn’t me I have no idea where it is. I haven’t had it since the beginning on the year
I hope you all understand and thank you to those who were kind to me and supported my business and I apologise again for any inconvenience
Ngā mihi
Taylor SOT
