Plenty been going on in the shop over the last month, still puts a smile on my face being able to work on such a wide range of cars and just how many of these classics are around the north Canterbury area.. if your classic needs attention in the electrical department give me a call or call in with it sometime to chat about what you need. Here’s a few of the vehicles that have been in for various types of repairs or upgrades lately..

Been very slack at keeping the photos up but here’s a few recent vehicles that have been in some small jobs some big, from full rewire to simple lighting repairs and charging system repairs.

1936 Plymouth full rewire recently completed, the old original loom was rotting and falling apart, this went from 6volt positive earth to now 12volt negative earth, with an alternator and some indicators and upgraded headlights tastefully added to make this old girl abit more pleasant on the road.

Was an honor to be trusted in assisting with this truly amazing vehicle yesterday, a 1 of 1 1934 Bugatti type 57 Gangloff roadster. A highly impressive piece of motoring history and the most valuable vehicle to ever be in my shop.

Something different in the shop last week.. A Commer truck. Don’t see many of these old trucks now, just had a full rewire front to back due to the original loom being past its useable condition. It’s now one step closer to being back on the road for the owner.

29/08/2025

Something a little different to my normal type of job but thought I would show that it’s not always just about the classics.. 2025 Toyota Hiace fit out for AMI Roadside rescue.

More job’s lately and current.. from general repairs to another wire up on the hq in the pics.
