Vehicle Restoration Technician / Fabricator / Mechanic @ D A Classics & Customs

Are you passionate about classic vehicles and custom builds? D A Classics & Customs is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our growing team.

About the Role:
We are seeking someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality results. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of restoration, fabrication, and custom vehicle projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle strip-down and reassembly
Mechanical repairs and maintenance
Fabrication and modification of vehicle components
Light engineering and workshop-based manufacturing tasks
Assisting with restoration and custom vehicle builds
Diagnosing faults and problem-solving during restoration projects
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop

Ideal Candidate:
Proven mechanical experience, preferably within automotive, restoration, or engineering environments
Experience in vehicle strip and assembly
Fabrication skills including welding, cutting, and metalwork
Knowledge of light engineering principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Happy Friday everyone!

Now that Julys almost over I should probably get an update for June done so here it is. A good variety of vehicles & jobs through last month, a few pics of whats been going on (limited to 80 photos so cant show it all unfortunately).
We have made a heap of progress on some of our larger jobs... Scouts down paint shop end with some colours being chosen today so watch this space, Surf metal work is back underway to finish up the widebody, Vauxhall's panels are close to complete - fun times ahead sorting the fiberglass, wee Morris Traveller metal work is complete & ready for blasting & painting, Matts Cortina metal work is full steam ahead, Dans ute is nearing completion with plumbing side of things well underway & Lindsays HR is very close to being driven out of here.
Andrews R33GTR made it out the doors after repair cert work was completed, a Fairlane has entered the building with paintwork well underway (excited to reveal this one) along with a wee MG and a 280z.
The smaller jobs keep rolling through and a bit of insurance work to mix things up.
