Rakaia Automotive are extremely proud to sponsor the Dealz Racing crew! Dealz Racing compete in some serious high octane jet boat river racing and it’s not for the faint hearted. Our Workshop Manager Riley is the driver of the big green machine, and the good news is he is racing this weekend down at our local Rakaia River! Anyone can come down and watch him and his team compete with 15 other boats, check out the boats for yourselves, and see what Riley does when he’s not fixing your vehicles.. its pretty awesome! 🤩

Meet Sally 👋

Meet Sally, Murray’s better half! Sally has owned the garage with Murray for the past 30+ years. Sally is our queen bookkeeper, she keeps all the accounts in order, makes sure all the bills are paid, and ensures the boys are paid at the end of each week!
When Sally’s not at work, you can find her playing golf, shopping for new shoes, or running around after her 3 grandchildren!

It’s been a hive of activity today at Rakaia Automotive! We have had a brand new hoist installed in the workshop, so we now have 4 fully operational hoists to get more jobs done! 🔧⚙️

Brrrr 🥶🥶
These cold mornings mean hard starts… and I don’t just mean for us!!

If you’re finding your vehicle harder to start on these cold mornings, it could mean your battery is on the way out.
Rakaia Automotive offer free battery testing, so come down and we can have a look for you. We stock a variety of batteries here if you need a new one, or we can get them in for you quickly & hassle free.

Keep warm out there folks!

Meet Riley 👋

Riley is our workshop manager! He is always making sure that operations are running smoothly here at Rakaia Automotive. He is also hands on the tools Monday-Friday.
Riley works on all cars, utes, 2 wheelers & 4 wheelers, jetboats, and anything in between.. basically if it’s got an engine, Riley’s the man for the job.
When Riley’s not at work, you can find him boating the rivers, enjoying beers with friends, and spending time with his partner & kids.

**We are back open tomorrow morning as usual**

The boys had a great weekend, they placed 1st in their class, and 2nd overall out of 20 boats, and got the trophy for fastest piston boat overall of the weekend!! Absolutely fantastic. We are so, so proud of them.

Here’s a picture of them receiving one of their trophy’s of the weekend and no… you’re not seeing double 👀 This is our Riley pictured with his brother Scott who was navigating for him this weekend 😃🏁🏆
