Counties is one of the oldest and largest RC Car clubs in New Zealand. Founded in the 1980's Counties has always been known for it friendly, family orientated racing atmosphere. That said we also boost several current and past national champions as club members. We race 1/10th ad 1/8th scale electric offroad cars every second Sunday. Come down and have a look but be warned this sport is addictive!

8th Scale race round this Sunday. Nitro and Electric Buggy and E Truggy. 10 Min Electric Mains and 30 Min Nitro mains on the new track layout. Entire track has had a full make over and ready to cut some laps.

We will run nitro bumps if numbers allow. We will be running the tables for drop and marshal same as ABC to get through the day.
Pre reg if you want www.countiesrc.co.nz then just show up and race.

Registration and practice 8-9am, Racing from 9:15am

Race Day Update: Event Cancelled

​Unfortunately, the weather hasn't played fair and the track is currently waterlogged. As a result, today's racing is officially cancelled.

​The good news is that the forecast for the rest of the week looks much better! We will be pivoting to a practice session to get everyone back on the dirt.

🛠️ WORKING BEE – THIS SATURDAY! 🐝
​Saturday, 2nd May
8:00 AM until finished
​Unfortunately, the recent heavy rain has undone our work to freshen up the track. To get things back in shape, we are holding a major working bee this Saturday.
​The Game Plan:
• ​Track Layout: Minor changes to improve natural drainage.
• ​Surface Repairs: Filling and compacting holes.
• ​Drivers Stand: Treating rust and sealing the roof. Install new lighting brackets to prep for the new roof.
• ​Electrical: Wiring in the road-side lights.
​What to Bring:
• ​Tools: Spades, rakes, wheelbarrows, and water blasters.
• ​Special Request: If anyone has access to a plate compactor, please bring it along! It will make the repairs much faster.
​Lunch is on the club! 🍕
We’ll be supplying pizza and drinks for all volunteers.
​We have a lot to get through, so any help is much appreciated. See you there!
