The Bonnet - I decided to make a mint late model bonnet fit my older bonnet frame . The difference is the hinge cut outs are none existent on the newer bonnets. Let’s see how it went .

Carburettors ! Man ,did I struggle with these . Cleaned and fitted recon kit , took heaps of dismantle pictures ( never enough) . Long story short I couldn’t find the right mixture tool as they were so lean . Got it in the end with help also found air leaks .

Upper tailgate ready for re paint , quality “garage paint job” cut to finish . I used 2k gloss which in hindsight a mistake , I like the gloss but the proper semi or Matt finish would look more in keeping . Pictures here show hand made repair chanels ready for fitting .
