We do WOFs, servicing, brakes, tyres, suspension, cooling systems, and everything else from the roof to the tyres! Our workshop is (almost!) brand new, with new equipment to take the best care of your car.

We’ve had the odd phone call asking if we’re open in Level 3, yes we definitely are! Give us a call to make a booking, as it is very busy at the moment. Usual covid rules apply, wear a mask and sign in when you drop your car off, otherwise it’s business as usual.

Dear Customers
Mechanix is deemed to be an essential service. We provide servicing to vehicles involved in the provision of critical services supplying directly to hospitals & health care industry.
Also, people & families need cars to travel to supermarkets, their GP, pharmacy or hospital.
Accordingly we will be remaining open until Government advice changes.
It is however important that we keep our staff safe in these challenging times. Mechanix has instituted strict protocols for public interaction, staff conduct and social distancing.

CUSTOMERS
• PLEASE KEEP YOUR DISTANCE – Maintain 2 mtr separation
• AVOID CONTACT – Please place your keys on the counter or leave in your vehicle (window down)
• MINIMISE SOCIAL INTERACTION – We don’t mean to be rude, but if we seem in a hurry, or pre-occupied, it is just us trying to do everything right and keep everyone safe!
• IGNORE THE SMELL – We will most likely give parts of your vehicle a quick wipe down.

We’ve decided to try something a bit different, and would appreciate your support, we are trialling a late night Thursday nights, rather than Saturday mornings, this gives people who can’t make Saturday mornings due to sport, work etc, a chance to bring their cars in for wofs, servicing or repairs after hours, and it gives us a chance to have a whole weekend with our families! Win win for everyone I hope. Please feel free to call us to make a booking, we did this last Thursday night and John and I were busy all evening, it was great!

We are looking to expand our team, and we are looking for good mechanics to join us, qualifications aren't too important, but good skills and a good attitude are! You must be capable, thorough, and have a good work ethic. WOF authority is a plus, but not essential as we can look at putting you through for your wof ticket if you have the experience. We are a part of the Auto Super Shoppes network, so you know we do good quality work and have good gear to go with it. We are a general mechanic shop, and work on most things (apart from French cars:-) and we do some medium size fleet work too. We are located in Point Chevalier, easy access to motorway and the city.
