We caught up with Dominic, one of the drivers behind the wheel of Fleet Plant Hire's SANY Electric Trucks, to get a genuine insight into what they’re like to operate day to day, how they perform on site, and how he found the transition from diesel to electric.

These trucks are out there working, being driven every day and proving that the transition to electric commercial transport is not only possible - it’s already happening.

Our new truck workshop is ready!

We’ve spent the past few months expanding our Melbourne facility, increasing our capability to support customers across Australia.

The new facility provides dedicated capability for servicing, diagnostics, repairs and technical support, backed by the wider Vertu Group.

We’ve built a strong commercial vehicle support operation in New Zealand through Terramotive, and we’re now bringing that experience and capability across to Australia.

For us, it’s about more than supplying equipment. It’s about having the people, facilities, parts and technical support behind our customers.

There’s plenty more to come from Terramotive in Australia.

Back in May, our team attended TruckShowX in the Hunter Valley, showcasing the first SANY ETipper of its kind in Oceania.

This event offered first hand feedback on how these trucks are performing in real-world applications, as well as sparked conversations about how more fleet owners and smaller operators are beginning to explore electric trucks as a commercially viable solution.

Our New Zealand service team recently completed the installation of upgraded safety screens and an engine replacement for Auckland Transport's buses, helping keep their fleet operating safely and reliably.

Well... it's been a busy few months at Terramotive!

A few people have probably noticed we've gone a bit quiet on social media, but it's certainly not because things have slowed down. Quite the opposite.

The last few months have been packed with customer visits to China, new product development, buses arriving, and plenty of deliveries heading out the door. It's been one of those periods where we've been so busy doing the work that we've forgotten to tell everyone about it!

Here's a few snapshots of what we've been up to.

We've also delivered some fantastic new buses to customers around New Zealand. They're currently getting their liveries fitted, so we'll share some photos as soon as they're looking their best.

Thanks to everyone who's been following along. We've got plenty of exciting projects to share over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
