Going back to 2014~~

We had Steve stock Dc5 TypeR on the dyno, with no bolt on or exhaust, we tuned Thu a AEM Series 2 to see what’s the gain us over the stock mapping.

With VTEC point dropped and VTC altered, massive of improvement in mid range torque, power band shifted early. Massive gain At 5000-6000rpm ( 35kw/45hp gain ) and ( 12kw / 15hp gain ) at peak just by trimming the fuel back and running it at optimum mixture.

Every car and motor is different, and remember this motor was tuned 2014, its 12 younger compare to now.

It was only a 5 year old car and very low mileage at that time 😅😅😅

Going back to some of the B Series Engines bays we had in HK and Nz almost 10 years ago.

Best performance bolt on Intake was always the Mugen Airbox and then it’s the tuned length intake with a bell mouth / velocity stack for most street and track applications .

ITB and our GroupA intake is still the best of the best but it require a lot of work to make it all work.

- Gearing
- Dyno Time
- custom radiator and ducting

It’s not really made for a street car, it’s dedicated for proper race use only!
