🎉 Celebrating 40 Years! 🎉
Today marks 40 years since Mike and I opened Mike Deane Motors and Shell Omokoroa — and what an incredible journey it’s been! Blood sweat and tears has gone into the businesses with about 5 Reno’s while juggling 4 children and 7 grandkids along the way. What a whirlwind, wouldn’t change a thing. Proud of how far we have come 🌟

Mike Deane Motors is a busy automotive workshop situated in the Beautiful Omokoroa. Mike has been here for over 36 years, he prides his business in the quality of workmanship and the loyalty from the community. Mike Deane Motors is a European specialist Workshop. The workshop is well equipped with the latest Euro spec scanners and specialized tools and to carry out all Automotive repairs.
About the role
We currently have a position available for a qualified automotive technician. We are a friendly team that provides an excellent professional service and we are looking for someone with the same values.
Skills and experience
We are looking for a technician with the following skills and attributes:
• Trade certified
• Current AVI would be an advantage
• Strong diagnostic capability and a positive approach to problem solving
• Current full divers license
• Strong work ethics
• The ability to work well as part of a team and individually
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A can do attitude

MIKE DEANE MOTORS- UPDATE WE ARE AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE
MTA Advises;
URGENT UPDATE "ESSENTIAL SERVICES"
Further to our earlier update (23 March 2020), we are delighted to advise members that following our contact with officials today, the Government’s list of “essential services” has been extended.

It now includes “any entity that keeps vehicles operating for essential work purposes”.

We’ll have further information tomorrow as part of our larger Covid-19 update.

Our company safe policy is this:
Your vehicle will be externally washed on arrival and all contact zones thoroughly sanitised prior to our technicians working or entering your vehicle. If you do not wish for this to happen unfortunately we will not accept any work you request.

Home delivery service- we will no longer run customers home however we will still be able to arrange collection and or courtesy vehicles.

No tech contact where possible

We thank you for your patients as we put these safe measures in place and your respect of any decision the company makes to keep our staff safe at all times.

When your vehicle is low on AdBlue, come see us at Mike Deane Motors. We sell the AdBlue in a 10 liter container with funnel and our workshop technicians will fill up your vehicle while you wait.

Carried out a service on this VW golf, and full diagnostic scan. Found some faults and alarm siren fault. Checked and confirmed not working at all, only hazard lights flashing. We informed the customer and got the go ahead to diagnose further .We found wiring eaten by rats and a huge nest they made under the wiper trim panel. Repaired wiring, taken the huge rat nest out. So beware if you notice mice or rat droppings in the engine compartment.
