VTNZ are now operating from our Service Workshop, carrying out both COF and WOF inspections.

Both Service Pits now have MAHA Brake Rollers, and VTNZ have already been operating on-site for the last few weeks, working with our Team to increase efficiency.

** Certificate of Fitness **
- This service is for our Service and Engineering customers only
- Booked via our Service Advisors when booking a service or pre-check
- If you have a VTNZ account, it will still be charged direct as normal
- Includes VCA, COF-B inspection, and recheck inspection
- Saves travel time from our workshop to another Testing Station facility

** Warrant of Fitness **
- Priority service for our Service and Engineering customers
- Available for any WOF customer
- Book via our Light Vehicle Workshop Service Advisor
- If you have a VTNZ account, it will still be charged direct as normal
- If no VTNZ account, it will be charged through McCurdy Trucks
- Includes WOF and recheck inspection on Utes, Vans, Cars, and Trailers

We had the pleasure of attending the Uhlenberg Haulage Ltd 60 Years in Business celebration over the weekend.

Jim & Barbara McCurdy started McCurdy Trucks in 1965, and Mike & Carol Uhlenberg established Uhlenberg Haulage in 1966. Since then, four generations of the McCurdy family have had the privilege of working alongside the Uhlenberg family.

Wayne McCurdy was honoured to speak at the celebration, sharing that it's always a proud moment to see Uhlenberg trucks operating in other regions, looking immaculate and representing Taranaki to such a high standard. He also reminisced about one of Mike's early trucks arriving at the Barrett Road workshop all those years ago, sounding pretty bloody good!

Congratulations to Chris & Jeanette, Daryl & Teneka, Tony & Leah, and the entire Uhlenberg family and staff for putting together such a fantastic afternoon. It was great to see the North Island fleet gathered in one place, and even better to see every truck wearing its mudflaps!

One of the highlights of the day was listening to Mike thank everyone who has been part of the journey from the very beginning, and hearing the stories and defining moments that helped shape what is now one of New Zealand's most highly respected and immaculately maintained transport fleets.

Thank you again for having us. It was an honour to be part of such a special milestone.

Last week we presented Alex with his MITO New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering - Road Transport (Level 4).
Which makes him now officially a Tradesman!
Alex completed Level 3 at WITT Taranaki, then the remainder on the workshop floor, learning practical skills alongside qualified techs, as well as off-site training with our Parts & Service partners.
Well done Alex! Keep upskilling and tackling training opportunities.
