What a great final round of the NZ Jetsprint Championship in Whanganui to wrap up the 23/24 season.

Matt Nairn finished off his season with a 6th place. a good day of racing improving throughout the day which was great to see.

Dave Hopkins secured himself another podium finish of 3rd to finish the championship in 2nd. Hoppy had a great season never was the fastest boat but stayed consistent with a good handling boat and his amazing driving which earned him this finish.

Richard Burt 4th place finish and faster day license boat. good day of developing this new package and is now in a great position for next season.

Now it's the off-season we look toward the 24/25 NZ Jetsprint Championship and the 2025 World Series this will bring new boats new packages and great racing!

A great day of racing at round 4 of the New Zealand Jetsprint Championship in Meremere

Matt Nairn(5TH LS Class)working away through his day but had an unfortunate spin in the top 6 ending his day.

Dave Hopkins(3TH LS Class) worked hard and drove amazing as he always does bringing home another podium finish in the MK2 JETSPEED

Richard Burt(4TH SuperBoat) was a great day of racing for Richard. THE X was the 3rd fastest boat on the track with a 47.036 in the Top 6. In the Top 3 was on a great run but unfortunately clipped an island sending it out of the track and getting some good air time. the boat is fine with no damage. still working on the boat set up and has got a lot more speed left for the next round.

Graham Hill's first outing in the GTR-powered single-seater JETSPEED hull. This was its first time on a track so a lot of figuring out with the setup but it has a lot of potential. we look forward to seeing it at the next round.

Now we look toward the final round of the championship back at Whanganui on the 3rd of March we will see you there!

Another good weekend of racing at Round 3 of the NZ Jetsprint Championship in Wanaka

Andrew Craig(Group B)unfortunately had his boat’s engine blowing in Q4. Luckily, he was able to hop into Karl Brenssell’s mk5 Group B boat to continue his race day. He only got 3 runs in it before being eliminated but said he loved the way it handled.

Matt Nairn(LS Class) boat is looking good and he is starting to get the hang of it.

Dave Hopkins(LS Class)achieved a 4th place finish. His boat handled great but unfortunately the engine was lacking on power all day and will be fixed for the next round.

Jack Hopkins(LS Class)Is impressive following in his Dad’s footsteps. It was a great debut and he is showing lots of potential.

Richard Burt(SuperBoat). Great to have Richard back and in a new X1 hull powered by a Ford Barra. His boat, named the “THE X” went very well before sadly having engine issues in Q3. We are very excited with how it is looking on the water. Looking forward to seeing how this package goes as it shows great potential.
