Dunn's Driver Training Hi I'm Garry Dunn and I am a qualified driving instructor with over 22 years experience in road policing. Hi I'm Garry Dunn of Dunn's Driver Training.

I started my driving school in 2010 after a 22 year career in road policing. I am a fully qualified driving instructor and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Driving Educators (NZIDE)

I offer custom tailored driving sessions and programmes to enable you to pass that test first time. I also deliver the Street Talk Defensive Driving Course. For Learner, Restricted or Full driving test preparation or Overseas Conversions, give me a call.

Good news everyone. I tested negative again today so I am free to take lessons from tomorrow.

A sign of these Covid times folks.
I'm currently isolating at home due to a close contact in the house.
Negative RAT for me this morning but no training lessons until I test clear next week.

01/12/2021

With the Traffic Light system beginning tomorrow and driving lessons being "close contact" then I am only able to conduct lessons under orange with fully vaccinated students.
Doing otherwise exposes me to a $1000 penalty.
Until the situation changes please bring your Driver Licence and proof of vaccination to every lesson.
I am fully vaccinated.

We cannot conduct any training or courses until Level 2.
Stay safe folks.

Due to Level 4 lock down all bookings for the next 3 days have to be cancelled. I will try to rearrange these in the next couple of weeks.

24/02/2021

For the month of March I will have LIMITED AVAILABILITY for driving lessons. I am presenting on several Road Safety programmes in Blenheim and Nelson.
After about March 27 I have more time available for driving lessons.
Thanks for your understanding.
Garry.

Merry Christmas to all my past and present clients.
I'll end this year with an apology for those who have sent me an email through my website recently. I found about 30 emails in my spam folder and will work through them tomorrow.
If you haven't already arranged alternative training I will discount any lessons that have been subject to a delayed response from me.
Apologies and Merry Christmas again.
