The Role:
You will be carrying out towing of vehicles, accident recovery, breakdowns and other general duties.
Due to the nature of the business, flexibility is a must, you will be required to be on call with rostered weekends work, as this is a 24/7 operation.

Hours of work: 8am-5pm Monday -Friday. (However must be flexibility is a must)

What we need from you:
• You must be flexible
• Deliver Excellent Customer Service
• Be able to think outside the square
• Be motivated and work as part of a team
• Have great communication skills
• Be honest, reliable and well presented
• Able to follow instructions and work well under pressure
• Able to operate a forklift
• Also mechanically minded will be an advantage

You will also be required to obtain a V Endorsement which will require a police vetting check and have a full class 2 licence, along with a Osh and F Endorsement, you must have a clean drivers license and no criminal history.

You will also be provided with:
• Work Uniform
• Mobile Phone

May 2013, ten years ago, Trade Towage Ltd found a new owner.
After 35 years in the towing industry Steve decided it was time to go out on his own and pursue a life long dream of owning his own towing company.
Starting with 3 Trucks, and himself and one other staff member, he set off on his journey. Now 10 years later there are 11 staff members and 14 trucks.
Steve would like to thank his current and previous staff with a special mention been made to Garth who has been with Steve since the beginning. All staff are valued team members and have contributed to the success of Trade Towage Ltd.
Steve & his team wish to acknowledge their valued clients for all of their support.
There have been some tough times and challenges Covid lockdowns, 2020 floods and the current Cyclone Gabrielle 2023, however these events have made us stronger.

Here’s to many more years.

We are looking for a part time Office Administrator to carry out various administration and telephone reception duties for a tow truck company based in Onekawa.
The position will suit an applicant with experience in a range of administration duties and a can-do attitude.
Being able to multi task is a must!
The days of work will be Thursday and Friday of each week; however, flexibility will be required based on business need from time to time.

GUMBOOT FRIDAY, MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS.
From Wednesday 9th November - Friday 11th November we managed a whopping 80 jobs in the 3 days. So if our maths is right that’s $800 we have donated to Gumboot Friday. Thanks everyone for their support and comments supporting the team here.

GUMBOOT FRIDAY, MENTAL HEATH AWARENESS.
As we all know mental health is a major problem in the world and especially here in New Zealand, so here at Trade Towage we are getting behind the cause and showing our support towards the mental health battle. From Wednesday 9th November to Friday 11th November every job we complete over the 3 day period we will be donating $10 per job towards Gumboot Friday.
Towing can be a very fast paced environment at some times and it can be stressful and take it’s toll on people. We are lucky here we have an awesome crew and families that always support us and are there when we need them.
We transport various amounts of vehicles, not many people know but we do attend the more serious crashes and also fatalities. Along with the other first responders we do unfortunately see people in distress at times and also people passing away, sometimes this can be a shock. We are all here for each other.
Please if you are struggling, speak up.
