Couple of European cars getting some attention in the workshop today.

The 2020 Porsche Macan had full service carried out, including a new oil filter and fresh Liqui Moly Top Tec engine oil.

2017 Volkswagen Arteon had brake fluid replaced and brake system checked over.

Regular servicing makes a big difference, especially with European vehicles. Keeping them maintained properly now can save headaches down the track.

Another tricky electrical fault tracked down and sorted.

This motorhome came in with electronic issues caused by an aftermarket alarm system interfering with the vehicle's electrical system.

Alarm system and associated wiring removed. Electrical system restored and wiring returned to factory configuration. System scanned with no faults.

A good reminder that aftermarket electronics can sometimes create problems long after installation.

Today’s Workshop Brief

Mercedes-Benz C230
Repaired oil leak and installed a new breather plastic housing.
Replaced the right outer lower ball joint.
Replaced the manifold vacuum actuators.

Peugeot 208
Replaced the A/C compressor.
Installed a new TX valve and dryer.

Audi S7 Saloon
Diagnosed a misfire on Cylinder 3 and replaced the ignition coil.
Replaced spark plugs.

Full service completed, including oil and filter replacement, air and cabin filter service, fluids checked and topped up, plus a replacement front headlight washer jet.

Porsche Boxter S
Full Service carried out with oil and filter changed, air and cabin filters cleaned, and all fluids checked and topped up.

2017 Audi Q7 in for a full service.

Oil and filter changed, air and cabin filters checked, fluids inspected and topped up, and a full service inspection carried out.

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia - Fitted with new brake pads.

And yes, the olive tree made it into the workshop again ;) It's practically part of the team now.
