Sorry we've been a bit MIA lately! 👋
The workshop has been flat out with a range of exciting projects, and we've been busy doing what we love most—building quality custom aluminium boats.
We thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves and share a bit about who we are and what Allenco Marine is all about.
So, let's start with a little about ourselves…
About Harvey & Allenco Marine
Harvey's passion for boats began in high school with his first small boat. After leaving school, he followed in his father's footsteps and trained as an engineer, combining his engineering skills with a lifelong love of boating.
In 2000, Harvey founded Allenco Marine with a vision of building strong, high-quality aluminium boats that stand the test of time. More than 25 years later, Allenco Marine has earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service, with many clients returning for their second, third, and even fourth custom-built boat.
With over 40 years of experience in the aluminium boat building industry, Harvey has designed and built heavy-duty custom boats for both recreational and commercial customers throughout New Zealand and overseas. Every Allenco Marine boat is built by Certified Aluminium Welders, ensuring the highest standards of quality, strength, and durability.
At Allenco Marine, no two boats are the same. Whether you're after a practical work boat, a serious fishing machine, or a fully customised recreational vessel, we work closely with you—and, where required, your chosen boat designer—to create a boat that perfectly suits your needs and lifestyle.
As a factory-direct builder, we have the flexibility to customise every aspect of your boat. From a bare hull ready for your own fit-out to a complete turnkey package, we can build exactly what you want without the limitations of mass production.
If you have a project that requires a custom-built aluminium boat, we'd love to help bring your ideas to life. Contact us today to discuss your next boat.
