🚤 ABOUT HARVEY & ALLENCO MARINE

It seems we have quite a few new followers here at Allenco Marine, so we thought it was a good time to introduce you to the man behind the boats — Harvey Allen.

Harvey’s passion for boats started back in high school with his first small boat. After leaving school, he followed in his father’s footsteps and trained as an engineer, combining his engineering skills with his lifelong love of boating.

In 2000, Harvey founded Allenco Marine with a vision of building strong, high-quality aluminium boats that are built to stand the test of time.

More than 25 years later, Allenco Marine has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail and great customer service. Over the years, many customers have returned to Harvey for their second, third and even fourth custom-built Allenco boat.

With over 40 years of experience in the aluminium boat building industry, Harvey has designed and built heavy-duty custom boats for both recreational and commercial customers throughout New Zealand and overseas.

Every Allenco Marine boat is built by Certified Aluminium Welders, helping ensure the quality, strength and durability that Allenco boats are known for.

One of the things that makes Allenco Marine different is that we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

Whether you're after a practical work boat, a serious fishing machine, a dive boat or a fully customised recreational boat, we work closely with you to build a boat around how you want to use it.

And where required, we can also work alongside your chosen boat designer on special or one-off projects.

As a factory-direct custom boat builder, you deal directly with Harvey from the beginning.

There’s no middleman and no mass-produced, off-the-shelf boats.

You can start with a bare hull ready for your own fit-out, choose a partially fitted boat, or go all the way to a complete turnkey package.

The choice is yours, and we have the flexibility to customise the boat to suit your needs.

After more than 25 years of Allenco Marine, Harvey is still passionate about building boats and enjoys working with customers to turn their ideas into something they can enjoy for years to come.
