Swan 🦢
- Experience gliding around the lake in our swan pedal boat. We believe she is the only one in NZ. She holds 2 adults and one child. Cost: $18 for 20 minutes

Pedal boats 🚤
- These are vintage 1950s, retro pedal boats completely rebuilt. You can pedal around the lake, under the bridge,
around the islands. Hold 2 adults and 1-2 children. Cost: $16 for 20 minutes

Row boats 🚣🏽
- Go for

a pirate experience complete with pirate hats and captains’ hats to row around the lake in one of our two
row boats. Holds a family 2-3 adults and 2-3 children. Cost: $16-$18 for 30 minutes

Kayaks 🛶
- Race around the lake, enjoy the ducks and ducklings in our 1 or 2 person kayaks. Cost: $16-$18 for 20 minutes

Lifejackets supplied for everyone of all ages. We even have them for young children.
- Under 13s are required to wear a life jacket -

We offer a range of complementary goods! Ice cream, Ice blocks, Lollies, Cold beverages, aswell as duck food, and maize for the deer.

Easter will be magic in masterton.The park is looking beautiful with autumn leaves , the balloon festival is on and the boats will be open every day over Easter that it is fine and every day in the school holidays too. Come and have fun on the pedalboats between 11 and 4 each day for a family April treat

Gorgeous day today and there's enough water in the lake for us to open. See you down here for a pedal, row or kayak around the beautiful lake. Big day with the summer hummer concert happening in the park and big week with golden shears happening across the road in the stadium. Masterton is the place to come to have fun

Finally a break in the weather. Looks like it will be sunny for the next few days. We are open today and will be for as long as the weather is kind.

What a way to start 2026, riding around the lake at Queen Elizabeth Park on the swan or one of our retro pedal boats, or if you prefer, use the rowboat or a kayak. We are open today and every other fine day during the holidays provided there is enough water on the lake. The park is such an all in one experience with the miniature train rides, playground, mini putt golf and the deer park and with the pool just across the road. Come and spend New Year's Day with us.

What glorious weather on Christmas Day. We hope your day was a special one
We are open every day as long as the weather allows. Come on down - pedal, row or kayak around the beautiful lake at Queen Elizabeth Park. We provide umbrellas to keep the sun off you, crazy hats to add to the fun and cushions to make you even more comfortable.

We also sell corn for the ducks and maize to feed the deer as well as icecreams and drinks.

Beautiful weather in the Wairarapa and there is no better way to spend the day than out in a boat on the beautiful lake at Queen Elizabeth Park in Masterton. We are open every day over the school holidays apart from Christmas Day - weather and lake conditions permitting. Come and have some fun.
