I am selling my unique nostalgic drag car, she's ready to race!!
Engine is a Dart block 400 sbc, aluminum profiler heads, comp cam, 12.5:1 compression Carillo rods and pistons. Holley highrise intake and Holley 950 cfm carburetor. (Runs on av gas)Transmission is a 4 speed Jericho (just been reconditioned) along with a long shifter. New ram clutch and clutch plate with a ram aluminum flywheel. 9" Ford rear end with a strange centre section, 5.13 gears with a full spool, and 35 spline axles, with GM style rear disc brakes. Ladder bars and original leaf springs with a floater kit. Front axle is a speedway tube axle with early Ford spindles with Wildwood drag racing front brakes. Wheels are 15x8.5 rear 5 spokes with Hoosiers and 15x4.5 crager s/s on front with cover 5.60 pro trac front runners.

1955 Dodge Kingsway....started life as a 4door with 3owners and 70 odd thousand miles.
This motor is a 273 smallblock mopar which was built in the US for superstock.
Trans 904 torqueflite with a whole lot of CopeRacing parts.
Diff ford 9inch with full spool and at this stage 4.56 gears

"The HillBilly Gasser from Wairoa stands proud on display,
A high nose machine built to blow you away.
With a straight front axle and a mean big block roar,
Its a back-country beast ready to settle the score.
When the weekend arrives, he backs off the farm.

Our next Gasser to be on show in our stand at the Palmerston North Swap Meet this coming Saturday is 💥💥 "FOSSIL", 🤘Neil Bournes Ford Prefect alllll the way from Kaiwaka, Northland. Now that's a really long way so you will really want to get up close to check this little beastie out while its in town. 🔥🔥
