After 24 years repairing radiators it still amazes me that radiators can get this bad before they come in to be serviced.

Had a mark three Zephyr radiator in for a service today, took the top tank off and cleaned it out. Reassembled it, repaired a couple of leaks around tubes and it’s ready to go again.

Diesel tank out of a 160LC excavator, was really dirty and rusty in the bottom of the tank and causing fuel system problems. Gave it an acid clean and a fuel tank liner and it’s good to go again Fuel tank

Rusty broken frames on an old 1939 Ford radiator. Recored this old ford hot rod radiator, it’s got a 350 chev in it and the frames were broken on both sides. Were rusted and had multiple broken patches welded and brazed on. Ground them all off and started again fresh.

Kenworth radiator in for a clean up as it’s getting an engine rebuild. Pulled it apart, cleaned it, repaired the tank, made a gasket and replaced nuts and bolts. All ready for another round.

Hitachi ZX330-3 radiator in overheating, managed to save this one and get it back out same day.

Small John Deere tractor radiator with some fan damage. Radiator was in good condition so I just took the tanks off and welded over the leaking tubes to block them out of the system. Cleaned it and put it back together. Pressure tested it and it was ready to go.

Quiet morning at work. Good way to spend a couple of hours, fixing the leaking dinghy behind the shed. Why just fix the patch, let’s make a window in the bottom.🤣🤣. Will it float? Will put it in the estuary tomorrow after school and see. If it doesn’t sink it should be fun way to spend some time on the water with Willow 🤣

Great timing, was at the supermarket last night and got a phone call from one of the staff with a leaking radiator. Checked it out and gave her options of replacing or repairing the radiator. Got it all sorted for her this morning.

Crunchy 😬. Leaking Honda GB500 tank , owner stripped the paint and found some history😬. This has had some dent repairs done previously and a liner put in it. Unfortunately the liner had failed and the tank was leaking. I’ll make a new section of the tank, clean out all the liner and sort it out.
