Here's a reminder for people to not actually use these tyre shine/silicone sprays on your tyres.
They may seem like a good idea but you'll get overspray everywhere. On your wheels, paintwork maybe even your window glass if it's windy. Then when you actually drive your car, the silicone on the tyre will sling down the side of your car.
The best option is a gel which is usually applied with a foam applicator which will last longer and look better.
Remember that if you drive through a lot of water, tyre dressings do wear off and will need to be reapplied.
A garaged vehicle with tyre gel applied and is only driven on dry days will last upwards of 2 months before showing signs of needing another application.
Daily driven vehicles will likely need their wheels cleaned on a weekly basis and tyre gel applied again for a clean look.
We use this tyre shine spray but not for anything wheel related, and most certainly not as an interior dressing which we have seen in Auckland.
