Tyre Fitter/ Wheel Alignment Technician – Bridgestone Lincoln

Bridgestone Tyre Centre Lincoln is locally owned and operated.

Do you have previous sales experience in the tyre industry?
Are you mechanically minded and enjoy dealing with people?

Bridgestone Tyre Centre Lincoln is seeking a motivated, reliable and mechanically minded person to work as a Tyre Technician in our busy workshop. Previous experience is ideal, but full training will be provided for the right person who is willing to learn and go the extra mile for their customers.

You will be expected to cover all aspects of workshop duties and customer interactions once fully trained.

Duties will include:

Identifying customer’s tyre requirements
Fitting and balancing tyres
Wheel Alignments
General workshop duties

The successful applicant will be someone who shows initiative, is willing to learn and enjoys being part of a small team.

We are looking for someone with the following key attributes:

Sales experience preferred but not essential
High level of customer service
Positive attitude is essential
Fantastic communicator verbal and written
Team player
Computer literacy
Full clean drivers licence
Must be able pass Police Vetting
This position is a full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm.

Bridgestone Leeston are seeking a full time Tyre fitter/ technician. This job will include working on commercial, farming and domestic vehicles.

Duties include but are not limited too

• Stripping and fitting tyres
• Wheel balancing
• Puncture repairs
• Wheel alignments
• Customer service
• Ensuring the work area is kept tidy

The person we are looking for must have:
-A Great Attitude
-Be self-motivated
-Good timekeeper
-Can work independently as well as part of a team
-Able to follow instructions
-Good Communicator
-Be willing to learn
-A current valid clean and full driver’s licence
- Must be physically fit, as the role requires a degree of heavy lifting

Experience preferred but on-site training will be provided.

You will be required to pass a pre employment medical and drug test.

This role will be minimum of 20 hours per week with extra hours available when required. This role may suit someone who is semi-retired.
