Mashed Potato Pancakes with Meat Filling

A golden crust, tender mashed potato, and juicy meat filling inside—these potato pancakes are hearty, comforting, and absolutely irresistible. Once you make them, you’ll be asked to make them again and again!

Ingredients:

For the Dough:
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 egg
1/4 cup flour (plus more for shaping)
Salt and black pepper

For the Filling:
1 tbsp oil
1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper
Optional: parsley

For Pan-Frying:
Vegetable oil

Instructions:
In a skillet, cook onion and garlic in oil. Add meat, season, and cook until browned. Cool.
Mix mashed potatoes with egg, flour, salt, and pepper into soft dough.
Flatten dough, add a spoonful of filling, fold, and shape into patties.
Fry each side until golden brown. Drain excess oil.

Serve hot with sour cream, yogurt, or your favorite dipping sauce. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a hearty snack.
