👏🏼👏🏼THANK YOU KERIKERI FOR CONTINUED SUPPORT 👏🏼

A big thank you to all the locals that continue to support my business by coming back for driving lesson's for other family members, whether it be another daughter ,son, partner.
I would just like to say I do very much appreciate the loyalty you show me.

For all new arrival's to kerikeri,I would like to offer my services as a NZTA qualified driving instructor with an excellent pass rate.

I teach people of all ages the skills of driving,I will prepare you to pass either your restricted or full test,by teaching you to drive defensively .

Many mature people about to sit an on road safety test will also seek my support as well as people who have not driven for many years just looking for confidence building .

As Kerikeri is expanding ,more people moving from overseas looking to convert their licence to a New Zealand licence, but have to sit the on road test 1st.
I can train you for this too.

Congratulation to Lliam ,Treigh,Cyrus
who passed their restricted licence test 1st attempt !!

4 new road rules will become law on 1 October 2026. Here's what they are:

The aim of the new rules is to make people’s travel safer and better reflect how people already use the roads. From 1 October:

• Children 12-years-old and under can ride bikes on footpaths and parents or caregivers can ride with them.
• People can ride e-scooters in cycle lanes.
• Drivers must leave a minimum gap of 1.5 metres when passing other types of road users.
• People must give way to buses leaving bus stops in areas with speed limits of 60km/h or less.

Earlier this year we asked for your feedback on these changes. We passed your feedback onto the Minister of Transport – there was broad support for the changes the Government proposed, and the Minister decided on the above.

We’ll keep you updated here – follow us if you aren’t already to get updates. There's also more information on our website: https://www.nzta.govt.nz/changes-to-lane-use
